Typical Sales Workflow
Although every organization may adapt the process to its own needs, a typical sales cycle follows these steps:
- Create or identify an Account.
- Register the relevant Contact.
- Create a new Opportunity.
- Assign an Opportunity Type.
- Progress the opportunity through the configured Pipeline stages.
- Record Activities such as meetings, calls and follow-ups.
- Prepare a Quotation when required.
- Close the opportunity as Won or Lost.
- Generate a Contract, if applicable.
This standardized workflow ensures consistent sales management while providing complete visibility throughout the commercial process.
