Purpose
Price List Approvers define the users responsible for approving changes to price lists within the Assortment Planning module.
By assigning approvers, organizations ensure that modifications to pricing structures are reviewed and validated before being applied. This helps maintain pricing consistency, enforce governance policies, and reduce the risk of unauthorized price changes.
Price list approvals support internal control processes and ensure that pricing decisions follow established approval workflows.

This configuration area is typically managed by system administrators or pricing managers responsible for pricing governance.
Overview
The Price List Approvers screen allows administrators to define the users who are authorized to approve price list changes.
The configuration consists of a simple list of users assigned as approvers.
Each selected user becomes part of the approval group responsible for validating price list updates.
Configuring Price List Approvers

To configure approvers:
-
Open the Price List Approvers configuration screen.
-
Select one or more users from the user selection field.
-
Add users to the list of authorized approvers.
-
Click Save to confirm the configuration.
Multiple approvers can be defined to support collaborative or hierarchical approval processes.
How Approvers Are Used
Once configured, the system may require approval from these users when:
- A new price list is created
- Existing price list values are modified
- Pricing updates exceed predefined governance rules
- Price changes require managerial validation
Approvers ensure that pricing decisions are aligned with company policies and commercial strategies.
Best Practices
- Assign approvers with clear pricing authority.
- Include pricing managers or financial controllers when appropriate.
- Define more than one approver to avoid approval bottlenecks.
- Regularly review the approver list to ensure it reflects the current organizational structure.
