System Parameters – Companies, Access Profiles, Users & Security

Purpose

The System configuration defines the foundation for how users, companies, and access permissions operate in the platform.
This setup ensures that each entity within your environment has the correct access level, company association.

Accessing the System Area

To configure system-level elements:

  1. Click Control Center in the top-right corner of the screen.

  2. In the left-side menu, select System.

  3. You will see the following configuration options:

    • Companies

    • Access Profiles

    • Users

    • Security Configuration

Configuration Areas

Area Description Purpose
Companies Create and configure the legal entities that represent your organization. Define the company’s legal details, currency, time zone, and specific rules such as working hours and off-work policies. Enables correct entity-level operation across modules such as People, Projects, and Payroll Component.
Access Profiles Define the profiles that control what users can see or do within the system. Assign permissions to modules, views, and functions. Ensures secure and role-based access control.
Users Create system user accounts. Assign each user to a Person or Contract, and link them to an Access Profile. You may also trigger an automatic email to set up their password. Controls who can log into the system and defines their role.
Security Configuration Define the default Tenant Administrator Profile and Default User Profile used across the system. Centralizes system-level security governance.
