System Configuration – Companies Setup
Purpose
The Companies configuration defines the main organizational entities that operate within UNEEVO.
Each company represents a legal or operational unit, holding its own business rules, working hours and contact information.
Access Path
Control Center → System → Companies
Overview
The Companies screen lists all companies registered under the tenant.
From here, administrators can add, edit, or delete company records and define their legal and operational parameters.
To add a new company, click “Add Company” and complete the following details.


| Field Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Name * | The common or display name of the company. This is the name used across the system to identify the company in lists, records, and operational contexts. |
| Legal Name * | The official registered name of the company, used for legal, financial, and contractual purposes. This may differ from the display name. |
| Timezone * | Defines the company’s operating timezone. This setting impacts scheduling, timestamps, business hours, and time-based calculations across the system. |

| Business Hours | Defines standard working hours for the company, used in project planning, allocation, and reporting. | Example: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (9 hours) |
| Off Work | Specifies vacation and compensation policies. | Vacation Days, Compensation Days, Carryover Week/Day, Allow Carryover |
| Details | Stores all relevant contact details, including address, phone, and email. | Addresses, Emails, Phone Numbers |
Business Hours

Used for time tracking and resource planning, this section determines the company’s default daily working schedule.
Administrators can configure the standard start and end times that apply across UNEEVO modules.
Off Work

Defines employee time-off policies, including:
- Compensation Days – additional or special leave days.
- Carryover Rules – whether vacation days can carry to the next year and under what conditions.
Details

Stores all company contact data:
- Addresses – multiple addresses (e.g., Headquarters, Branches).
- E-mails – main contact and departmental emails.
- Phone Numbers – includes both work and mobile phones, with primary designation.
This information ensures integration with communication workflows and reporting modules.
Best Practices
- Always configure timezone and currency before activating operational modules.
- Define standard business hours before assigning users, to avoid scheduling conflicts.
- Regularly review and update contact details for accuracy in automated notifications.
