Project Management – Process: Summary & Analytics

Module

Control Center → Project Management

The Summary & Analytics configuration defines which analytical widgets, summaries, and performance indicators are available in projects that use a specific Project Process.

These settings control the visibility of dashboards, charts, and KPI cards shown inside project pages, helping teams monitor progress, effort, cost, risk, and financial performance according to their delivery model.

Access Path

Control Center → Project Management → Process → Summary

1. Purpose of Summary & Analytics

The Summary configuration allows organizations to:

  • Control which metrics are visible per process
  • Align reporting with methodology (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
  • Reduce information overload for simple projects
  • Enable advanced analytics for complex or regulated projects
  • Ensure consistency across all projects using the same process

Each enabled item becomes part of the Project Summary view.

2. Summary Features Overview

Summary features are enabled using toggle switches.
Each toggle controls the visibility of a specific chart, table, or KPI block.

3. Effort & Resource Analytics

Feature Description

Effort Deviation Chart highlighting deviations between planned and actual effort.
Work Distribution Summary Charts showing distribution of work items per resource, segmented by type and status.

These features support workload balancing and performance tracking.

These indicators support risk mitigation and delivery forecasting.

8. Feature Dependencies

Some summary elements depend on other process features:
