The Organizational Chart Detail screen is where you can design, structure and visualize your company’s hierarchy.
This view lets you add, edit or reorganize departments to reflect how your business is structured in real life. Each node represents a department allowing you to build clear relationships between teams.

Main sections:
- Name Field - The name at the top identifies the chart currently being viewed. You can edit it directly if you need to rename the structure.
- Nodes Section - This is the central area where your company’s hierarchy is displayed.
Each orange box represents a department and can be expanded by adding sub departments beneath it.
The structure updates automatically as you create or rearrange nodes, offering a real-time view of how departements are organized.
⚠️Department Configuration
Before adding departments to an Organizational Chart, ensure they are already created and configured in the Departments screen.
The Organizational Chart pulls its department list directly from that configuration - meaning you can only select departments that already exist in the system. If a department is missing from the dropdown when creating or editing a node:
- Go to the Departments module and create it there.
- Save your changes.
- Return to the Organizational Chart screen and add it to the hierarchy.
Setting up departments in advance ensures consistency across modules and prevents duplicate structures.
