Purpose
This article explains the role of the People Management module within the UNEEVO platform.
Rather than describing individual screens or configuration options, this article focuses on how People Management contributes to the overall platform, the information it owns, the modules that depend on it, and its role throughout the employee lifecycle.
Detailed instructions for each feature are available in the People Management Functional Reference.
Overview
People Management is responsible for maintaining the organization's workforce information.
It centralizes employee records, employment contracts, organizational assignments and employment history, providing a single source of truth for all people-related information across the platform.
Rather than serving only Human Resources, People Management provides foundational information used by Resource Management, Project Management, Operations Management and Reporting.

Best Practices

- Keep organizational history using Journeys instead of overwriting existing information.
- Use Bulk Updates when applying standardized changes.
- Maintain cost information separately from organizational information.
- Avoid duplicate employee records.
