General Parameters – Types / Global Lists

Purpose

The Types / Global Lists area centralizes reusable definitions that are shared across all UNEEVO modules.
These lists ensure consistency, standard classification, and unified data structure throughout the entire system.

Types are used by People Management, Projects, Sales, Operations, Financial Components, and Resource Management, serving as foundational values for dropdowns, validations, categorization, and automation.

Path:

General → Types

This page organizes all predefined lists into categories, making configuration intuitive and consistent.

2. Structure of Types

Each Type group is organized into Categories (e.g., Locations, Payment, Personal Info), and within each category are specific lists.

Sales Management Industry types, sector types, cancellation reason types
Operations Management Units of measure, frequency types, payment terms
Resource Management Work calendars, countries, states
Project Management Location definitions, measurement units

Types act as standardized building blocks, ensuring every module speaks the same language.

5. Best Practices

  • Configure types early, before setting up Companies, People, or Projects.

  • Maintain a clean and minimal list — avoid duplicates or unnecessary values.

  • Changes to Types affect all modules, so update with caution.

  • Use consistent naming conventions (e.g., “Corporate Address”, “Mobile Phone”).
