Purpose

Cost Types define the statutory cost categories that can be associated with employees and employment contracts.

These classifications provide a standardized way to identify the different statutory costs recognized by the organization, supporting payroll processing, statutory reporting, and labor cost management.

Access Path

Control Center → People Management → Contract → Statutory → Cost Types

Overview

The Cost Types configuration allows administrators to create and maintain the statutory cost categories available throughout the People Management module.

Each Cost Type represents a specific statutory cost classification, such as social security contributions, work insurance, or other legally required employment costs, depending on the organization's legislation and business requirements.

Once configured, these Cost Types become available wherever statutory cost information is managed within the application.
