Insights – Module Overview

The Insights module provides a flexible, powerful analytics environment that enables organizations to transform operational data into meaningful, actionable information.

1. Purpose of the Insights Module

The Insights module allows organizations to:

a. Designs

Designs are the building blocks of Insights.
A Design may include:

Selected data sources (e.g., Timesheets, Projects, Accounts, Tasks).
Field filters applied to refine the dataset.
Custom columns using expressions or combinations of existing fields.
Visual configuration that transforms data into charts, metrics, or grouped tables.

Designs can be reused across multiple dashboards and shared with other users.

b. Dashboards

Dashboards aggregate one or more Designs, providing:

Controlled access based on user permissions.
